Grilled Corn
Golden and fragrant street food, brushed with a secret sauce, charred outside and tender inside, with sweet and juicy kernels, perfect for summer BBQs.
Ingredients
7 items- Sweet corn 4 ears
- Unsalted butter 30g
- Light soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt a pinch
- Fresh cilantro, chopped to taste

Steps (5 steps)
Remove husk and silk from sweet corn, leaving the innermost thin layer. Soak in cold water for 10 minutes, then drain.
Melt butter over low heat, add soy sauce, chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Stir well to form a sauce.
Grill corn over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes, until lightly charred and kernels appear translucent.
Brush the sauce evenly over the corn, then grill over high heat for another 2-3 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Remove from grill, sprinkle with chopped cilantro if desired, and serve hot. Crispy on the outside, sweet and tender inside.
Tips
Soaking corn helps prevent burning; leaving a thin husk layer locks in moisture. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
